From its humble beginnings more than 22 years ago as a standalone office to today, the Ray White Aspley Group has forged a path of continuous improvement. Living and breathing a team-wide culture of constantly searching for better ways of doing things, this spirit of curiosity has brought about exponential growth, with the group now operating from four separate Brisbane locations and servicing clients all over Australia.

The founder of the group, Paul Hodkinson, launched with a focus on family values – his own, those of his team members and by extension, the families within the local community. His approach has always been characterised by flexibility, support and an understanding that caring for the people who work in the business ensures clients are cared for equally well.

In choosing back in 1998 to work under the banner of another Australian family business, Ray White, Paul and his team have been an integral part of the real estate network’s rise to market dominance,  now Australasia’s largest industry brand operating in eight different countries. With almost 1,000 offices and more than 12,000 members, Ray White provides market-leading back end support and technology and now sells one in eight properties across the country.

In late 2019, Ray White Scarborough became the fourth office to open in the Aspley Group, growing rapidly with the support of co-directors Paul Hodkinson and Robert Green and shareholders Angela Duncan, Dwight Colbert and Stephanie Williams. This team ownership structure epitomises the Aspley Group’s concept of family and is an option that’s ultimately open to all qualifying team members, underpinning further growth in the group.

With a median house price in the mid to high $978,291k bracket, the peaceful coastal town of Scarborough is located around 30km north northeast of Brisbane at the northernmost end of the Redcliffe Peninsula. Close to beaches, walking paths and cycleways, the closest train station is just six minutes drive away in Kippa-Ring offering a direct line into the city. For water lovers, it’s a 20 minute boat ride to Bribie Island or a one hour ride to Moreton Island, while kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and other water sports are all popular recreational activities. Sidewalk cafes sit all along the waterfront in Redcliffe, with a friendly community vibe making it a popular place to live for families, singles and retirees alike.
